- The date and place of his birth are not known. His film screenplay credits include Owarai Sannin-gumi (The Comedy Trio, 1958, Nikkatsu), a big-screen adaptation of the popular NHK program. Other notable works include Hadaka no Seishun (Naked Youth, 1965, Shochiku), starring Masakazu Tamura, and Soshiki Bōryoku (Organized Violence, 1967, Toei). He also wrote many scripts for TV animation, including Hustle Punch (1965–1966, NET [now TV Asahi]), Rainbow Sentai Robin (Rainbow Squadron Robin, 1966–1967, NET), Mahōtsukai Sally (Sally the Witch, 1966–1968, NET), Himitsu no Akko-chan (The Secret of Akko-chan, 1969–1970, NET), Mōretsu Atarō (1969–1970, NET), Mahōno Mako-chan (Magical Mako, 1970–1971, NET), GeGeGe no Kitarō,1968–1969, Fuji TV), Sazae-san (1969 to present, Fuji TV), Norakuro, 1970–1971, Fuji TV), Tiger Mask (1969–1971, Yomiuri TV), and Kick no Oni (The Demon of Kickboxing, 1970-1971, TBS). For television, his credits include Aru Yūki no Kiroku (Record of Courage, 1966–1967, NET [now TV Asahi]), which won the Encouragement Prize at the Art Festival.
