- The years of his birth and death are not known. He is known for his collaborations with the director Yōji Yamada. He collaborated with the director Yōji Yamada on the human-interest drama that was set in Otar Osananajimi (Childhood Friend, 1974, HBC), which earned them the Excellence Award of NAB Awards (now JBA Awards). He collaborated with Yamada again on the 1976 HBC drama Otohime-sensei (Teacher Otohime), which starred Sayuri Yoshinaga.
