- Overview
- It is a thriller drama themed around the profile of the perpetrator of the 300 million yen robbery occurred in December 1968, depicting the glory and failure of a youth with a dark past, intertwined with forbidden love and violence. Ryo Kamon sings at a club, but he is also a high-end male escort. He has two secrets: first he suffers from a brain disease and could lose his mind and die any time, and second he is the perpetrator of the 300 million yen robbery whose statute of limitations expires in 187 days. Ryo is approached by a variety of people, including the women who are attracted to his cloaked-in-solitude appearance and spend the night with him, a former detective who suspects Ryo is the robber and follows him, and men who flock to get a share of the 300 million yen. One day, Ryo receives a gift: a composite photograph of the perpetrator of the 300 million yen robbery... It was an ambitious series that challenged the limits of dramatic expression with its graphic sex scenes and violence. Although its ratings were not that impressive, it garnered the attention of hard-core drama enthusiasts. The background song “Toki no sugiyuku mamani” sung by the lead actor Kenji Sawada was a hit.
