- Nobuko Ojima serves as a security guard at a shopping mall. One day, she warns a group of youths in wheelchairs who are hanging out at the entrance, which led Nobuko and her older brother Seiji to become friendly with them. However, the group starts to make unreasonable demands, making Nobuko and Seiji help them go down the stairs at an adult movie theater and staying overnight in the sibling’s apartment. These youths with disabilities have developed a distorted personality due to feeling constrained by society and suffering from various ways of discrimination. The siblings do not know what to say to them. Deputy Chief, Yoshioka, comes to a conclusion that their hearts have been twisted because they try to adhere to the rule set by the people without disabilities: “Don’t cause trouble to others.” He provides an unexpected piece of advice: “Don’t be afraid of causing a little bit of trouble.” This phrase, “Don’t be afraid of causing trouble,” was used from time to time in drama series aired in 2000 onwards, including Shokatsu (2000) and Kazoku no Katachi (2016).
