- He was born in 1944. From the 1970s to the 2000s, he wrote scripts for television series, mainly for works produced by TBS Television and Daiei TV-Film. His major works include Yoake no Keiji (Detectives at Dawn, 1974–1977, TBS), Akai Giwaku (Red Suspicion, 1975–1976, TBS), Akai Shōgeki (Red Shock, 1976–1977, TBS), Akai Gekiryū (Red Torrent, 1977, TBS), Ashita no Keiji (Detectives of Tomorrow, 1977–1979, TBS), Akai Gekitotsu (Red Clash, 1978, TBS), Kaerazaru Tabiji (The Journey of No Return, 1979, NTV), Stewardess Monogatari (The Stewardess Story, 1983–1984, TBS), Shōjo ni Nani ga Okottaka (What Happened to the Girl?, 1985, TBS), Asobi ja Nai no yo Kono Koi wa (This Love Is Not a Game, 1986, TBS), Hokuriku L-Tokkyū: Koroshi no Sōkyokusen (Hokuriku L-Express: The Murderous Hyperbola, 1987, Fuji TV), L-Tokkyu Sazanami 7-gō de Deatta Onna (The Woman I Met on the L-Express Sazanami No.7, 1988, NTV), Oze Shitsugen Satsujin Jiken (The Murder Case in Oze Marshland, 1990, NTV), Shō Kyoto Mystery 2: Hida Takayama Renzoku Satsujin Jiken (Little Kyoto Mystery 2: The Serial Murder Cases in Hida Takayama, 1990, Daiei TV-Film), Tōhoku Shinkansen Hayate Satsujin Jiken (The Murder in the Hayate Train on the Tohoku Shinkansen, 2004, TBS), and Yozakura Oshichi Satsujin Jiken (Yozakura Oshichi’s Murder Case, 2006, TV Asahi). He died in 2011 at the age of 66.
