The years of his birth and death are not known. He penned screenplays for the 1959 films Zatto ni Hikaru Me (Eyes in the Crowd) and Ten to Chi wo Kakeru Otoko (The Man Who Spans Heaven and Earth) and the 1960 films Hakugin-jō no Taiketsu (Duel at Castle Hakugin) and Mikko 0-Line (Stowaway Line Zero), as well as the 1961 films Ninjutsu Tsukai to Sannin Musume (The Sorcerer and The Three Daughters), Otoko no Chishio ga Kodama suru (Boiling Blood), Uogashi no Onna Ishimatsu (The Lady Ishimatsu of the Fish Market), and Ninjutsu Tsukai to Sannin Musume: Megitsune Henge (The Sorcerer and the Three Daughters: The Vixen's Magic). After contributing to these films, he served as one of the main writers for the television series Tokubetsu Kidō Sōsatai (Special Mobile Investigation Unit), which was broadcast by NET [now TV Asahi)] for fifteen and a half years from October 11, 1961 to March 30, 1977. He later wrote the scripts for the detective series Tokusō Saizensen (Special Investigation Frontline), which was broadcast on TV Asahi from April 6, 1977 to March 26, 1987. His other works include the television series Zero Fighter (1969, Fuji TV) and the films Bōryoku Gai (Violent Quarter, 1963) and Samurai Fuji wo Hashiru (Samurai Flight to Fuji, 1963).
